Ever thought to touch the untouched? Don’t give it a second thought and take a chance to explore the unexplored! Visit the land of tribes. Yes this is an indication to the seven sisters of India; the isolated states of north east India. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura together form the seven sisters attracting adventure as well as culture lovers alike. The gem unexplored appears colorful with tribal people occupying the area. Excited? Why not as it’s the time to leave your living rooms and rest in the lap of nature

The enigmatic north eastern states offer you the best of India tour. Definitely you are going to forget the pleasures of home here. For making things easier here are the things to be touched in an area untouched.
1)   Arunachal Pradesh- Tawang is an exquisitely beautiful location in Arunachal. While going to Tawang, you have to pass through Sela pass located at a height of 15000 feet. Is not it interesting? It is! A paradise dotted with verdant valleys, lakes and snow capped peaks. Even from here you can visit Bumla which is on the border with China.
Food, sight-seeing and shopping- with every frame being breathe taking there is no dearth of sights to see and enjoy. Shopping facilities are basic. One can buy local handicrafts.
2)   Assam- The mighty Brahmaputra would be a peaceful experience! Fell like keep on cruising up the river. The place enchants you standing still in time with the banks fine white sands. Totally worth the trip if you are a wild life enthusiast.
3)   Manipur- marvelous! Just hang out for a day at the Leimram waterfall you will never have the mood to come out. Sail at Loktakpat at Moirang its heart touching. Yummy are the pakoras and momos. Talk of the town is a highly recommended restaurant. The people are good, generous and always there to help. 
4)   Meghalaya- basically a state with three hills. The Umiam Lake, Maphlang-- where you would be amazed to see the variety of Orchids, Elephant falls, Don Bosco Museum, Shillong Peak. The city is filled with various falls and points. Shopping could be done at Police Bazaar for various handicrafts by the tribal people at innumerable emporiums. Don’t forget visiting Cherrapunjee where bridges are ancient solutions to get rid of rain drenched Meghalaya. Trek at the route bridges.
5)   Mizoram- visit the Army salvation temple in Aizawl which has bell chimes which can be heard throughout the city. Don’t forget to have a well portioned biryani at the curry pot as the place has tasty Indian and Chinese dishes on menu.
6)   Nagaland- Kohima serving as the capital city at first glance looks like a compressed version of Shimla or Mussorrie. The traditional food is cooked with herbs and spices and is extremely tangy. Beehives are a delicacy. Chicken and pork constitute the main dishes; the staple diet is of rice.
7)    Tripura- has beautiful rock cut carvings and stone images at Unakoti, Devtamura and Pilak. During November every year, the unique Orange & Tourism festival is celebrated in the Jampui hills.
Of course north east can be the ideal place to start with; the tour begins with the end of your imagination.
